Oliver is a landscape architect interested in using landscape to address contemporary environmental and societal challenges through innovative design and emerging technologies. His work engages with issues such as flooding, drought mitigation, and reducing urban heat, while also promoting social cohesion, active travel, and healthier lifestyles, particularly within urban environments.

Before joining Churchman Thornhill Finch, Oliver began his career at LDA Design, contributing to a range of projects that focused on reducing vehicle dominance and introducing nature into previously congested, grey urban spaces. This contributed to his interest in this particular area of landscape architecture and is an aspect of the industry he is keen to develop further.
