Alex is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute (2025). He has developed a strong enthusiasm for art and design since childhood, graduating with distinction from Edinburgh College of Art for his master’s in landscape architecture. Passionate about creating spaces that tell a story, he sees landscape architecture as a way to bridge people and nature through thoughtful, responsive designs.
Before joining Churchman Thornhill Finch, Alex worked on a wide range of public realm, residential, and healthcare projects. Alongside his professional work, he has been actively involved in land art exhibitions and workshops, including the Venice Architecture Biennale and Barcelona Landscape Architecture Biennale, fostering dialogue between the public and the landscape.
