Drawn to form, design and nature, David studied architecture at Newcastle University before receiving a post-graduate diploma with distinction in landscape design at Kingston University in 2000. He has the unique position of being dual-qualified as an Architect and Landscape Architect. He has since been a visiting tutor at the Bath School of Architecture, University of Bath.

David heads up the Bristol studio and joined the practice in August 2015 to help manage and grow the business. Having enjoyed thirteen years on International, high profile projects his master planning background is underpinned by a firm intention to make a positive change in the world. Acutely aware of the responsibility and impact of landscape architecture, David is interested in constantly bettering what we do for the benefit of nature and community, but also to push the edge of how we do things and why we do it.
