Tom’s design philosophy is centred around designing spaces for people. His passion for improving the public realm by creating greener and more walkable cities emerged from an interest in climate change and sustainability. Having worked in New Zealand on a variety of projects, notably Federal Street Streetscape Upgrade and Bayswater Marina Masterplan, Tom decided to shift his career to London to broaden his experience.
Since joining Churchman Thornhill Finch, Tom has been working closely with the team to deliver some high-profile projects across London such as a new commercial building equipped with internal planting, a green roof, and enhanced public realm in the London Bridge area. Out of the office he enjoys travelling and a range of sports such as rugby, running, netball and snowboarding.
